Flood Relief Fund
HELPING TO RESTORE BUSINESSES, COMMUNITIES AND LIVELIHOODS
The Industrial Development Corporation has committed funds to help the nation recover and rebuild all affected infrastructure and communities. This national fund is a response to President Cyril Ramaphosa’s announcement of the National State of Disaster declared on 18 April 2022. The fund is open to other provinces and areas that need relief.

R500 MILLION TO HELP THE NATION TO RECOVER AND REBUILD ALL AFFECTED INFRASTRUCTURE
R50 MILLION AVAILABLE FOR REGISTERED NPOs, NPCs TO PARTNER IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SOCIAL RELIEF EFFORTS
The IDC requests proposals from registered NPOs, NPCs to partner with the IDC in the implementation of the initiative. Proposals are required to assist the IDC to procure and distribute relief aids/goods e.g. shelter, food parcels, water, toiletries, blankets, mattresses, school books and uniforms.
