State-owned Industrial Development Corporation (“IDC”) today released a report through its Department of Research and Information titled “Africa and the Global Economic Crisis: Opportunities and Challenges” highlighting.

The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) continues to extend its national reach, with the state-owned development finance institution officially opening its North West regional office.

The Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa Limited (IDC) has received a €30M (approximately R400M) credit line from Proparco, a subsidiary of the French Development Agency (AFD), based in Paris.

Overview The Industrial Developmental Corporation (IDC) today announced a strong performance for the year ended 31 March 2009, with funding approvals up 27% to R10.8bn and funding in the rest of Africa up by 38% to R2.9 billion. The IDC’s approved funding activity will facilitate the creation of 24.

Johannesburg- The Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa Limited (IDC) has received a USD 50m loan from China Construction Bank (CCB)-Johannesburg Branch Chinese state-owned bank with offices in Sandton, Johannesburg.
