Who should apply for finance
Wholesale Finance Scheme
In this instance the application is made by the franchisor on behalf of franchisees. The franchise should be well established and in a strong financial position.
Individual franchises
Franchises applying directly to the IDC for finance should have been selected as a franchisee by an established franchise brand and should have been allocated a site.
SADC and rest of Africa
Franchises that want to expand into SADC and the rest of the Africa (RoA) should meet the criteria as set out for a franchisor applying for the wholesale finance scheme. In addition, the business must comply with IDC requirements for SADC or RoA funding criteria.
How to apply for finance
