About IDCOur focus
The 2010! And Construction SBU is headed by Sicelo Sikakane; its main focus it to channel funds to economically viable industries or businesses directly related to the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ through the relevant units within the IDC and also funds directly companies in the Construction sector, specifically small to medium enterprises, including providing bridging finance and revolving credit.
Who should apply for finance
While each proposal is considered on its particular merit, preference is given to entrepreneurs with economically viable businesses and proposals within the Construction Industry and those relating to the 2010 FIFA World Cup™. These include registered entities who:
- want to grow the profitability of their businesses
- have identified/been awarded economically viable opportunities
- wish to acquire BEE ownership (portion or whole) of an existing business
